Blue Springs Manatee Photos

We took a half day off from work at Aquarian Bath to visit the manatees at Blue Springs last week.  Hope you like the photos that Scott and I took. Scott took the under water photos with his Gopro.

Favorite spot for an annual photo.

Scott got these images of the nursing manatee with his "Gopro on a stick" contraption.

I helped him get these shots when I saw other manatees about to swim by by giving him direction where to turn the pole as he was laying down on one of the docks, "6 o'clock, 5 o'clock, 4 o'clock, 3 o'clock."

We probably saw a dozen altogether.  You can watch them during the winter on livestream:

Underwater Blue Springs Manatee Video

My husband put together this video of the manatees at Blue Springs using the video he shot with his underwater camera and the video that I took with my HP photo smart.  Audio by Enigma.  Enjoy.

Merry Christmas from Aquarian Bath and Florida Manatees

Merry Christmas from Central Florida!
My family and I spent Christmas Eve at Blue Springs State Park in Orange City.  My husband and I both had fun taking photos and video of these amazing Manatees.  I hope you enjoy them.

Scott Johnson took the first four underwater photos using his GoPro Hero HD camera.  He attached the camera to long staff and took photos from the swimming area entrances.

The last two photos I took with my little HP Photosmart

Have a great holiday and thanks so much to everyone who purchased gifts for for family and friends from Aquarian Bath for Christmas.  I really appreciate it, and I hope the presents are well received.

Manatees at Blue Springs

Lucky me I got to see manatees at Blue Springs yesterday. I was so happy we finally got to see some up close. Here is Tessa telling us to look!

Coming up for air...

Rolling over, maybe to get that black fish out from underneath her.

We also saw a group of 5 manatees, a mother and 2 that were very young. Unfortunately the pictures of them didn't turn out as well.

On the way home I got lucky, Tessa fell asleep, so I was able to stop and pick up more silicon molds while Daddy waited in the car with her. The blue sun shaped molds are for my re-vamped lotion bar kit and the trees will be for next Christmas's soaps. I love planning ahead!

Check out the new look of my lotion bar kit on AquarianBath or at Etsy if you have an old web browser.
